That is incorrect.

It's self-evident if you read the question carefully.

Probably way too simple for you to get it in a million years, though.

Nice ad hominem. Why don't you answer the question?

No, you misunderstand, yguy. I understand that you think you "know" god exists, and therefore you're far to superior to resort too making mere assumptions. My question is how you justify that perfect knowledge and how you reconcile it with the fact that there are quite a few people who know for a fact that the JC god doesn't exist.

They're lying. They don't know any such thing.

How do I know God exists? Same way you know murder is wrong.

Of course, that is largely peripheral to the question you won't touch for some reason.

I know for a fact that god does not exist because it is logically impossible.

I know that murder is wrong because it is done to someone against their will. You cannot know that god exists without evidence; you can only believe it. If evidence existed, faith would be superfluous. Also, because Santa Claus is logically more likely than god, if you beleive in god, you must de facto also believe in Santa Claus. Or aren't you consistent?

Which question is this?

Do you know that the Judeo-Christian God exists? Lobstrosity's post said "quite a few people who know for a fact that the JC god doesn't exist", which could cover, say, Hindus. Do you just claim to "know" that some sort of God exists but not necessarily that it must be the Judeo-Christian God? Do you "know" that this God is a personal God, rather than something a bit less personal like "the Tao" or Plato's notion of "the Form of the Good"? (see http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plato&...hor_of_the_sun )

Of course they do! They're no more prone to lying than you are, after all. They know the same way you know rape is wrong. As for me, I don't assert that I know murder is wrong, I assert that I'm personally opposed to murder--there's a difference. So for me, you're not making any sort of remotely persuasive arguement.

I know God exists. It is my opinion that He is indeed the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I inferred, perhaps incorrectly, from Lob's statement that he was referring to atheists who know the JC God doesn't exist.

BTW, you will never hear me say that Hindu or other gods don't exist. It is my suspicion, however, that they are pretenders.
