I guess this is more for the high school students, but if you are interested, West Point Bridge Design Contest Site . The software is really fun to play around with, and at my house we even have a little tournament with it.

I wonder what the optimum landscape setup is. My teacher managed to get something around 110k$ for the whole bridge, and I think I must be spending too much on the landscaping since I can't even get close.
