For years, I have been willing to passively allow the status quo. I always felt that including the words "under God" was simply a habit that people would willingly retract once the demerits were brought to their attention.

It seems that I was wrong.

In light of this, I believe that there is merit to making a visible protest One option would be to offer a pledge separately and vocally using the words "under no God".
