Evangelion:

no offense, but calling democrats and republicans the "extreme left and right" is perhaps the stupidest thing i have ever heard.

Kinross: Any chance you will actual respond to the points I brought up?

Ask congress.

If they weren't referring to 1441 in HJ 114, what were they referring to? 687?

I'm pretty sure they were referring to 1441.

Talking

What I find rather fascinating about this is how the Reps are running around like chooks with their heads cut off, yelling at everyone else:
"Share the blame ! You must share the blame !

uh, yes, we lied to you, though we're gonna pretend for a while yet still we didn't, but in any case, everyone else is bad too !
Don't hold us accountable !
Share the blame !"

I could care less if all Dems lied about the WMD. They didn't pull the trigger.

So drop the politics people. Look at the acts for what they are in the context of known facts and right and wrong. It's not rocket science. Even the OJ Simpson jury would get this right.

One of the more succesful tactics the right used to shore up outrage at Bill's BJ was by saying "forget about how great the country is doing", forget about politics and look at the act for what it was, a presidential lie." And it worked.

Well, another lie has been told and this time thousands are dead who would still be alive if
we didn't go to full scale war. Seriously, for what?

These are the guys who were supposed to bring dignity back to the White House for this country in all the world's eyes.

Yeah right. Our White House is just over fucking flowing with dignity and credibilty right now.

Try actually responding to the fact that 1441 does not, in fact, authorize force.
