You're probably right - the style was so convoluted I thought they meant "Do not withhold", especially since they entire tone was one of "chastise your child". Lousy double negatives.

Edited to add : I knew I'd seen Pastor Women's-Makeup somewhere before.

I noticed that the site had several articles by the despicable, discredited, Dr. Paul Cameron of the Family Research Institute.

I also noticed that there was an article blasting tattoos as the "cup of the Devil." A quote:

In the pages of history, whenever and wherever "tattooing" pagan tribes were converted to Christianity, without exception, one of their first pagan practices to "pass away" [ 2 Corinthians 5:17] was the tattoo. Why? Because, unlike todays disobedient carnal "tattooed" Christians (or so-called?), the converted pagan KNEW the tattoo was against the Word of God. The Holy Spirit quickly "told" the converted pagan no tattoo.

I found this, umm, rather ironic, in light of the following (from here):

"At least twice Cameron has advocated the tattooing of AIDS patients on the face, so that people would know when they were meeting with an infected person. The penalty for trying to hide the tattoo would be banishment to the Hawaiian island of Molokai, a former leper colony. In the event that a vaccine were developed to prevent AIDS, Cameron has proposed that homosexuals be castrated to prevent them from 'cheating' on nature." - Mark E. Pietrzyk, News-Telegraph, March 10, 1995.

Sounds like a pretty good justification for lots of promiscuous sex. Ought to use that line to pick up Christian chicks.

A wonderful Nutwatch, as always Queen. However, I'm afraid I have to bone a pick with you on one item. It is patently untrue that gawd doesn't like figs. Consider the intricate symbiosis She designed into their reproductive system - placing their reproductive organs on the inside, requiring a tight mutualist relationship with a wasp without which it can't live, even designing a parasitic wasp that preys on the other. No one expends that kind of detailed effort on something they don't like, not even gawds.

Fabulous, as always. I especially liked this one:

I do hope he (Jesus, not Mr. Melton) hadnt contracted some sexually transmitted disease.
Haha!
