Default Let's put some money where the freethought is

(Laurie) I recently married a superb, freethinking, liberal man. Together we can now afford to contribute $100 per month to worthy organizations. Past recipients have included Planned Parenthood, microbanks, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, NARAL, National Public Radio, NOW, the ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center, and others. But this month - and maybe from now on, damn it! - I'm supporting freethought orgs. This month, Internet Infidels and the James Randi Educational Foundation are getting $50 each from us. BOY, does that feel good!

Anybody with me? Come on, let's cough up $5 or $10 bucks for this great board! I come here just about every day, and the fellowship always heartens me. That's worth something. How about we put a few bucks where the freethought is?

You go, girl!

I contribute every month with PayPal and I heartily encourage every Infidel with a few bucks to spare to do the same. This website is one of the greatest assets to the freethought movement in existence. If we believe in it, we should support it (just like public radio, except without the boring membership drives)!

Regards,

Bill Snedden

I'm doing the monthly Pay-Pal thing, as well. I figure if I don't remember I'm spending the money until after I've spent it, it counts less, or something.

I just recently got on board with the monthly PayPal thing as well, I never knew it existed (duh) and that is the kind of thing I need because otherwise I will just forget to do it despite the best intentions.

Default Don't Forget

Many companies will match things like scheduled payroll donations.

Default Two big thank you hugs!

(Laurie) PayPal is great. This board runs on volunteer power, and doesn't have big phone banks and fund drives, so every penny helps. Internet Infidels is such a great resource! I suspect it's the largest freethought resource on the Net. It has absolutely helped me distill, define and defend my atheism. I've turned to the libraries, archives, links, resources, and humor (!) here more times than I can count. This Discussion Forum rocks. Thank BOTH of you moderators for your dedication and hard work. :notworthy :notworthy

Thumbs up

I'm not signed up with PayPal just yet, so instead I'm printing out the order form to get my very own Internet Infidels T-shirt !!!
