not really. you'd be surprised how easier it is to manipulate people who don't know you. that's what social engineering is about. you'd be surprised at the amount of con artists and hackers who succesfully use it.

My reply : Maybe true ... there are news about people be conned out of their savings and even fooled into having sex with this con-artists. Hackers however is not something I'm very familiar with.
