I too was excited to hear about this quote. I went to his website and to my politically moderate POV he looks pretty good. But, to be honest, I'll vote for ANY Democrat. Now if Lieberman gets the nod, then I have a hard decision to make. I'm not a fan of Lieberman AKA BushLite.

I haven't had a chance to do a serious analysis of all the candidates positions but so far Dean looks pretty good to me.

Maybe Xtianity qua Xtianity is not a moneymaking scam, but there are plenty of churches, televangelists, ministries, etc. in this country which are every bit as bad as Scientology in terms of being moneymaking scams (i.e. Benny Hinn's "ministry," the PTL network, etc).
Already agreed with this.

Twice.

Default You'll like what you see, Klug

Funny you should mention Lieberman as greatest of all lesser evils (?). You should see the slamming he takes on the DU boards. Many will vote Green or demand a real front runner run as an independent rather than punch a chad for "Liebermanofgod" or should I say "Liebermano'war"

The DLC hates Dean, which is just another good reason to support him.

Jesus... Lieberman and Graham are the DLC candidates... Graham couldn't possibly win against bush, and if Lieberman is the dem candidate, I won't even bother voting, as the same people will be in control no matter who gets the actual presidency (hint: neither Lieberman nor Bush)

Bleh... Are these people powerful enough to substantially effect the outcome of the primaries?

As we do not have millions of dollars to contribute, and none of us own any media megacorporations, our disgust does not matter to the DLC.

Default The Revolution will not be televised...

it's on the internet! It's called "groundswell", Dave. Remember all those people who got off their couches and protested the anglo-american invasion of Iraq? They, plus countless others will show up at his rallies, he's on FIRE!

Default And if dems don't request a winner,

We'll get stuck with "Jesus, Mary and Joseph Lieberman"
