<trekkie>
I have to defend that episode a little. While I will agree that the science behind the map in the DNA and how it somehow survived several worlds' evolutions without becoming garbled was bad, the end message was typical Roddenberry. The only ones who understood the message (and who weren't pissed at not getting advanced technologic weaponry) were the humans...we have great potential for good inside us. </trekkie> But again, there's no reason to believe such a seeding ever occurred...it's just more wishful "I hope there's a bigger smarter person out there watching over us" thinking. |

This thread doesn't seem to have much to do with Science & Skepticism, so I'm moving it to Media & Popular Culture.

okey, after 7 billion years the first humans were spawn, then they proceeded to seed the Universe with human dna, I didn't see the episode you all mentioned, and unlike any of you,which have contaminated yourselves with other minds, whatever comes out of my head are my own, if similarities arise,its coincidental, it might be something I extracted from my imagination, ( imagination does not create,but extracts that which are allready there,' cojana...
