I can't stand Bush. Its so painfully obvious when he is in his element and also when he is just a fucking puppet. I couldn't believe what I was hearing when he finally told Israel to leave the west bank and Gaza, it was like a little kid being forced by their parent to apologize.
"Well, its important that Israel backs off, I guess, and, uh,... Oh yeah, we need a Palestinian state, but the important thing is that the suicide bombers stop..." |

I hate it when Bush starts talking about the importance of "faith" and prayer. What about common sense? What about logic? I guess those kinds of things don't matter.
And what's REALLY bizarre and surreal is when he encourages people to go to Mosques and Synagogues even though his own religion teaches that those kinds of people are going to burn in hell unless they change their ways. It's crazy. [ May 02, 2002: Message edited by: atheist_in_foxhole ]
|

"President Bush spends a lot of time in prayer and meditation on the word of God before using any science and technology when dealing with a threat."
Hey JF, please refrain from using such heavy moronic irony without posting a spoiler warning of some sort (aside from your II handle) as I am trying to drink a freshly poured cup of hot coffee [ May 04, 2002: Message edited by: Panta Pei ]
|

I don't doubt that you hear that often
Let me spell it out for you, JF, since the snare that holds your mind prevents you from grasping this simple concept. Prayer fails. Results come from science and technology. Hope that helps |

The GOP doesn't need to finance those expensive old programs for anti-missile shields, they can just tell GW and Rumsfeld to pray harder.

Bonduca,
especially now that Bush et alia have their post-NDP supernatural powers. Their laser vision should explode the incoming missles quite handily. cheers, Michael |

Shrub is a dolt!
I'm sure the founding fathers of this (potentially) great republic would be dismayed to hear a president say govenment can't put hope in peoples lives. Sheesh! Oh and Jesus Freak, you have once again shown how religon is the prime excuse for racisum. |
