First of all, Rand was an idiot. Secondly, "The Big Black Book of Communism" is the best anti-Communist book (at 800+ pages). Thirdly, and most importantly, the writers of that book did not know what they were talking about.

Why do not you just lock this topic? It is now, thanks to Bible Humper, just another "me" thread. How many of these do we need?

Naturally, you think that of anyone who dares to disagree with you.

Actually, no it isn't. It is merely an investigation into atrocities committed by people who think the ends justify the means, and who love humanity but despise the individual.

Like you do?

No. I can think of many philosophers who would disagree with me, but I do not consider the majority of them idiots.

Like you do?

Of course I know what I am talking about. The writers of "The Big Black Book of Communism", however, do not.

Euda --

You know, of course, that 1984 is about Britain, WWII and the postwar period? Hint: the ministry of truth is the BBC.

I say that we create a Jesus-Humanism Church. We shall have two Gods, the Christians only have one. Jesus-Humanism follow the example and word of Jesus and follow our Gods. Are Gods are known as Logic&Reason (L&R).

Christians believe in what people say Jesus said. (orthodoxy). Jesus-Humanism listen to all the holy spirit that communicates our Gods to us.

When you do math, you are praying. When, writing a paper you are praying.

I have a Jesus-Humanist prophacy. I see you in the future being asked if you believe in God? Your answer, "Yes, both of them."

Priceless!

Let us all become Jesus-Humanists, and enjoy the same special rights they have. Humanists have two Gods, Christianity has one. We practice orthopraxis (the right action), Christianity practices orthodoxy (saying the right thing). They are right, their is an all powerful. And they go by the name Logic and Reason (L&R).

Temple-State Mind-Virus (TSMV)resulted from non-consciousness evolution to human consciousness. The TSMV has been with us since then. I know how to make a cure.

We should reclaim the Church because they are rightfully ours! Who has a problem being like Jesus? Everyone said no, right. My Jesus says this: By the Great Scribe Mack.

The following chreiai (anecdotes) can be found at the core of the pronouncement stories in Mark. All have been reconstructed by removing what ancient rhetoricians called the elaboration or the embellishments that turned chreiai into longer stories or speeches. The settings have been described to correspond with the issues addressed. All have been paraphrased in English translation to sharpen the point of the original repartee in Greek. The sign C means “challenge”; the sign R means “response.” Those with a * identify issues that focus on purity codes.

Mark 1:35-38. Drawing a Crowd

C: Everyone is looking for you!
R: Let’s get out of here.

Mark 2:1-12. Forgiving the Paralytic*

C: That’s blasphemy! Only God can forgive sins.
R: Which is easier, to forgive or to heal?

Mark 2:15-17. Eating with Tax Collectors and Sinners*

C: Why do you do that? They’re sick and dirty!
R: Those who are well don’t need a doctor.

Mark 2:18-22. On Eating and Fasting*

C: Why don’t you and your disciples fast?
R: Does anyone fast at a wedding?

Mark 2: 23-28. Plucking Grain on the Sabbath*

C: Working on the Sabbath violates the law!
R: Is it lawful to do good, or to do harm, on the Sabbath?

I call the new religion Jesus-Humanism. At last a religion that doesn't violate the laws of logic or reason. Jesus-Humanism it names represent two Gods. We call them Logic and Reason (L&R)

You do not understand! I want to eliminate as many obstacles as possible! Do you have a dream? You do the same thing. Social fascist!

And I am not a fascist!
Nonsense, you're assertions regarding government firmly establish the notion of rule which I like very much to keep away from.

But it is not about what they want, it is about what I want! I want the citizens to be protected! I also want a stable government--thus I must have forced education and propaganda so that the government does not alter too much, a possible obstacle for my immortality!
What is this nonsense?? You're putting me on, aren't you? This must be a joke, but I'm not sure if it would be fitting to laugh or not.

LOL! Have not you ever heard of evolutionary psychology? Perhaps you might learn something.
Uh, evolutionary psychology may offer reasons why some people may be murderers and rapists and thieves, but it doesn't assert that all people, when left to themselves are neccesary murderers, rapists and thieves.

Not with a healthy combination of meritocracy and stratocracy! Only the corrupt totalitarian regimes breed rebellion.
LOL, what makes you so sure yours won't be corrupt? I don't think you can offer safeguards to prevent corruption, eventually all systems will corrupt, and the more power given, the more easy it makes it.

That is good.

Yes, you are right. Not all evolutionary psychologists agree with each other, however.

Of course, the ruler will have limited control and power. Just like the Prime Minister of Canada. The difference being, the ruler does not have to conform with Christian morality; he must conform with the established, nameless form of morality (for morals, in my perspective, ought to be ineffable);( hence, executions could be moral if beneficial). The only dictator will be the founding father, myself, who must establish his dream.

Ed: and the ruler will be ELECTED by the scientists/philosophers. He may only hold a campaign if he procures a certain amount of credits (meritocracy).
