I was trying to find an extant thread to pose this, but nothing seemed really appropriate. Sorry for cluttering the headlines board

Has it actually been confirmed that the dead americans shown in the video were executed? I've been hearing from here and other sources on the net that it looks like the wounds shown could have been battle damage, but listening to the radio/watching TV, it seems to be fact that they were indeed executed by being shot in the head.

Anybody with more info than I have ... enlighten me?

You can find the video of the dead soldiers here.

People are jumping to the conclusion that they were executed because they have head wounds (usually among several other bullet wounds).
