Default Can someone explain these UFO videos to me?? They seem real

Can someone explain these videos to me? I'm a little creeped out.. The first one creeps me out the most, as the second one could be fake.

The first one could be a light shining upward & controlled by a pal. It could also be a light or reflection of the sun from an aircraft from the nearby airforce base. Why is it on cue? Maybe there's so much of that near that base it's a safe bet something will appear, or maybe it was always there but the camera & onlookers don't notice it until they're looking for it.

The second one looks like a fighter jet.

That was absolutely classic. In the first video, "prophet Yahweh" says, "look! It's going to Nellis Air Force Base...it wants to seen!" He looks right at the evidence (it's going to an air force base) and still takes the loooooooong way around the obvious conclusion, to arrive at "It wants to be seen!" :rolling:

The fact that he prays for a sign so that the people won't kill him doesn't tell you something about how worthless his viewpoint is? Some white reflection in the sky is freaking you out? Regardless of what it is why should it freak you out?

The fact that hey lost sight of it was because things that small and that far away will often be lost from your focal point extremely easily. Try for instance finding a plane in the sky when you hear it. Even when you've got a rough idea where it is you still have to do an almost random search of the area to find it.

And seriously. An air base is near by and they're wondering why a paranoid delusional is saying he can call up 'unknown' aircraft?

The second vid is either fake or a missile.

A research psychologist in the 60's found that ice cream sales had an almost perfect correlation with violent crimes (rape, robbery, murder). Does ice cream cause criminal behavior? No, heat cause both increased ice cream sales and increased crime.

His point in doing the study was that it's not always easy to see the causal relationships behind a correlation. He's right. That's why I don't waste my time trying to explain away every stupid superstition I come across, such as UFOs. Some people are going to conclude, every time, that ice cream is evil. What can you do.

That local news one was great. Prophet Yaweh is a catchy title, and summoning aliens by praying would look great on any resume. They are clearly up there just waiting to be summoned by that guy, having nothing better to do. Sure I am impressed with their flying orange super-fast sphere, but I laugh at what they use it for.

The other one was evidence of something going by really fast. We didn't get a good look at the fast object, but we are aware that there are man made flying craft that go zoom. So I'd not jump to the conclussion that it was Zep'trixt the Fifth, Lord of the Vault of Blibpt from beneath Olympas Mons.

Maybe it was Xenu, coming to wipe out all but the Scientologists. We're all gonna die, but our neuroses will live on in the minds of people who will be born in a thousand years or so. I hope my taste for chocolate and my PMS wind up in the same body. They're good buddies.

The news one was funny! I like how the guys tells us that the Air Force base didn't call him back as if that's significant. Pssst - they might be too busy to worry about some crackpot in a park that "summons UFOs." And I guess they didn't even think of going to the park before (or after) Prophet Yahweh was there to see if more of the objects appeared on their own.

It's real aliens, people! They pick up on our brainwaves and hear this guy praying. He's an alien tourist attraction!

"Whoa! the human nutjob is praying again! Cool! lets go check him out!"

Humor an old skeptic like me SOT but I'm going to have to see this for myself.

The Prophet Yahweh has accepted the James Randi Educational Foundatuion's Challenge and will be calling down UFOs to the Las Vegas area on January 26th to 29th.

I'm going, how 'bout you?
