And what relationship does omniscience bears with hearing prayers? You listen to people call you yet you are not omniscient, those who do not clal you, you do not listen to, right? The difference is that Mary is in Heaven which is not, as you no doubt know, bound by time.

And funny how the Bible says Jesus is the only mediator between God and humans. The Catholic Church added Mary.
Again, like I said, Mary is mediatrix of all graces, everything she has and does is because of God/Jesus, she has no power or abilty of her own. She was born sinless because of her role in the incarnation and so too was everything else that The Church declared about her. The only mediator between God and man is Jesus nobody denies that, but that doesn't means that we can't ask others to pray for us to Jesus.

Magus, Magus, Magus. Don't you think it's a bit pointless to try to convince us skeptics here at IIDB that your interpretation of the myth is the correct and true interpretation of the myth?

Again, from where I stand, it's all jabberwocky. The blue pill is as good as the red - both are placebos anyway. Your ubelievable things are no more believable than their unbelievable things.

Ex 16:25 And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field.
16:26 Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
16:29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

Ma 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.

Broke the Law…sounds like a sinner.

Ok. So how is "asking" non-physical entities different from "praying" to them? Put another way, if I'm watching you pray, how can I tell from your actions when you are "asking" and when you are "praying"?

I think what Valz was referring to was along the lines of:

"Hey, Joe, will you pray for me?"

He's equating that with:

"Hey, Holy Virgin Mother Mary, please pray for me."

That is why the Hail Mary says: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of death. Amen.

Actually, the pharisees misinterpreted that law. Jesus taught that the Sabbath is for man, not man for the Sabbath. Its absurd to let people go hungry or die, just because its the Sabbath. And God made the law, so I think He knows what He can and can't do.

Those who call themselves "Creation scientists" definetely do - as has been demonstrated countless times. And note that I put science is quotation marks, not make up.

They just don't agree that everything scientists claim is fact actually is, nor do they think if its scientifically impossible, it never happened.
If that's all they did, nobody would have any problem with them.

Now let's end this derailment. If you like to discuss this further (I doubt it because it's pointless to argue about this with you), tell me, then we'll open a new thread.

Wasn't some poor guy in the OT killed for picking up sticks on the Sabbath????

It's OK for Jesus & Co. to pick corn on the sabbath, but heaven forbid if they were to pick up a stick or two!
