Real Filet Mignon is porc and should never be eaten medium-rare
Now for Filet, you can eat it raw if you like it.

Beef, Veal, Pork, Lamb, Goat, Chicken, Turkey, Duck, Goose, Guinea hen, Boar, Deer (various kinds), Kangaroo, Frog, Snails, most Fishes and Sea-food, Rabbit, Hare, Beaver...
Not yet tried Buffalo or Ostrich, nor Snake, but I would have no objection...

I do not eat Horse

I prefer red meat rare or raw (pink for duck or lamb), I like raw fish and raw shell-fishes

I know I should for its nutritional content, but I honestly find the taste to be icky. There is no concern for those "poor animals" -- if it doesn't taste good, I don't want to eat it.

Ocassionally, I'll become inebriated and stumble into Burger King on the way home though.
