Mack is not a Historical Jesus scholar, but he suggests that Jesus was a wandering sage.

Do you have thoughts of your own? You have continuously posted quotes from different scholars but not presented arguments other than "why do you disagree with all these scholars?". Do you agree with Mack? If so, why? If not, why not? What's your opinion?

But that is just one of several different "interpretations" of Jesus he finds in the texts, isn't it?

Another possible solution sees the reconstruction of Q from the Eusebian canon tables. This is not a hypothetical document. There are approximately 600 odd "atomic units of text" addressed in these tables, which were issued with the earliest bibles, probably as "Ready-Reckoners" concerning "Who Agreed With Whom on What".
