CRAZY MAKING

Many of you are poor communicators. In fact you communicate in a way that at one time was thought to cause schizophrenia. If I make an assertion you immediately become defensive and say--what about this or what about that and change the focus of the original thought. So there is no real answer If not schizophrenia certainly causes discomfort. The same discomfort you feel that causes your defensiveness. Discussion would be more informative if you say "this is what I think" this will make the communication less complicated and lesson defensive.

I thoight I posted this thread before but it does not show it. so this might be a repeat

It is only with extreme difficulty that I refrain from making an amusing response involving schizophrenia and black kettles.

Mods: while you're exterminating this thread, perhaps you would consider trying to explain to Newt why it got exterminated?

And by the way, Newton Joseph, if you're so concerned about effective communicating, I reccommend learning a thing or two about punctuation, spelling and sentence structure. Just a suggestion...

Wait a minute now! I thought that psychotherapists never pointed the finger at people and accuse people. Isn't this the thing that puts people on the defensive and breaks down communication?

What are you a doctor of again there Newt?
