I applaud your open mindedness here Stumpjumper. I'd never have read anything like that as a Christian. My deconversion came after struggling divergent doctrines I found clearly taught in the Bible.

I can sympathize with Dawkins in a way and I understand what he is arguing against (fundamentalism) but it doesn't make him correct...

Fundamentalism and unreasonable distaste (and hatred in any form or source) is unacceptable in any form...

Back to reading Dawkins

And when you look at the pm's and see that he equates 'fundamentalist' with 'willing to execute those you don't like' ... it's scary.
