I think I finally cracked Mark 13, having the experience of Mark 4 (groan! now gotta go back and redo that!). The sequence breaks out by Jesus' warnings to heed, the marker "Truly I say...", and by shifts in the target of Jesus' declarations. Where a speaker shifts to a new target in a speech, a new bracket is warranted.
