Hiya Jon! And Louis is here, and eric and OA and Auntie Em, and Uncle BWE and you and you..and my little dog, Toto...it's all too much. I reiterate: where's the damn bar?
I suppose I should read the latest steaming pile of Dave, too.

5) What type of diatoms are these? I would assume that there is a difference between freshwater diatoms and salt water diatoms. Has this been anlayzed? If they are saltwater, what are they doing in freshwater lake sediments? In other words, it appears that no thought was given to the possibility that these diatoms could have been transported by moving water and sediment from some other source. It seems that the assumption was made that they formed in situ in Lake Suigetsu.
Note his objection built on what he assumes about diatoms and further assumptions about how scientist act if his first assumption is correct.

And how is this for chutzpah?

Dr. Mews posts a picture claimed to be from Lake Sugietsu which it may be, but we don't really know because the picture comes from the website of anti-Creationist Glenn Morton.(8)
Yet afdave's references cites AIG four times (13, 15, 16, & 17), CRSQ once (9), and even his own debates are given as references, three times (22,23 & 26), as well as a forum post on RDnet (18).

Looks like the show has already started. Has Dave dropped any really hilarious clangers yet or has he yet to warm up?

Oh, he has ... the talking snake bit above.

Please, someone submit that to FSTDT. It'll have them rolling in the aisles.

Looks like this is going to be quite a show. Have we been on the DaveTour of the Pyramids yet? Or is that in another thread?

Hey Cali. Just got here myself...Beer & other beverages are in the ice chest, the pyramid stuff is here: http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=202259 . With the aid of BWE's botanical enhancers, I'm appreciating Dave's comedy more fully. Problem is, I'm confused as to who's hallucinating more -- me or Dave.

Hiya brothers and sisters. Teh Mung Bean be in da house.
*grabs beer and popcorn*
Talking snakes again, huh? Aint seen any of those in teh bush around here.
So Davey me ol' bucket of fish guts, just because science does not currently have an explanation for flying pink elephants that doesn't mean we should reject the possibility of teh aviating pachyderms of rosy hue, does it?
I mean it's perfectly possible that more advanced science of future eras will have a valid and logical explanation of how elephants can be pink at altitude mit their feetses dangling in the air, yes?

I've just waded through that thread.

Once Dave turned up, it was the familiar routine all over again. Including the wilful misrepresentation of Crow that has been pointed out to him time and time again, most notably by ck1 who is a professional biologist and therefore can be regarded as having mastered the relevant aspects of this field of endeavour. The familiar guff about Smyth is there too.

Now, any chance of a decent claret in this place? Chateau Mouton Rothschild if possible?
