If you go to his blog, here you can see that he is just a ridiculous pseudo-intellectual.

I had about three e-mail exchanges with him over his essay. After I showed him how he'd both misrepresented the atheist position and had a tenuous grasp of European history at best, I haven't heard back from him. Imagine that.

SFWA? Is that the Science Fiction Writers of America?

Isaac Asimov would be ashamed.

I assumed it meant "Voice of the Day."

I think the pun idea gives him way too much credit.

"Ethics aren't viewed by anyone as a myth, although we may view the theistic base of some ethical systems as mythical."

I would be interested to hear what you base your ethical system on?

Your English teacher should be ashamed.

I kind of see that as biting commentary, how about you?

"Your English teacher should be ashamed"

well actually that could be just a statement.
e.g. "i'm interested in his opinion"-- would not require a question mark.
but honestly it was an inquiry so i stand corrected.

We have an entire forum dedicated to the discussion of morality and ethics. This is not it.

Um... it was a statement, hence why it was improper to put a question mark at the end. An inquiry would be "What do you base you ethical system on?", whereas what you actually wrote was a statement about what you would be interested in hearing. Thus, you should not have punctuated it with a question mark.

I know, I'm just being petty now.

I particularly liked the part where the writer showed that Vox Day currently holds to an amoral code, by Day's very own definitions.
