They can't get it through their heads this is normal and that bisexuality in males is true (ugh, Rheo!).

It's puberty. He likes guys and that's okay... but he needs to look into girls.

Probably. I'm about at my limit on biting my tongue here.

I can't handle OBOB anymore.

I think in that last CeeBee thread you & I were the only ones that gave the kid any support.

Good luck if you decide to stop biting your tongue.

I'd probably be removed from staff if i said on OBOB I was bisexual and that it's okay to be bi too.

I can identify with CeeBee because I had to go through the same feelings and I remember what it is like. I remember what it is like to be scared of being found out. I remember thinking how embarrassed I'd be if I died and went to Heaven and everyone found out I liked guys. I remember making fun of homosexuality so people wouldn't suspect me.

I remember how totally dark and worthless I thought I was... and none of them seem to get it. They don't know what this kid is going through- and i do. I can't tell him it's going to be okay, because I've been there.

I have to sit by why these chuckle-heads fill his mind with irrational garbage they are clueless about.

I contributed a little.

Poor kid. He needs more help from people who have some idea what he's dealing with.

Yeah. That had to be about the stupidest thing I have read on CF in at least a month and that's saying something.

I read somewhere as I was starting adolescence--probably _The People's Almanac_--that it is totally normal for a lot of people, even straight people, to have some homosexual feelings when they're growing up. Totally kept me from weirding out when it happened to me.

Yup, but sometimes those feelings are more confusing and complicated. I think it is totally normal for a guy or gal to have a crush on a member of the same sex. Most of them eventually grow out of it. Some of them never have same/opposite-sex attractions and others have to deal with the difficulties of attractions to both sexes.

Rather than dealing with sexuality honestly and openly, some people prefer to live in a game of denial and lies, that this is totally deviant and proportional to your relationship with God and value and as a person.

Rheo is partially right; in attempts to measure sexual response, men seem to almost invariably come out exclusively, or very close to exclusively, either straight or gay. It is not clear how to reconcile this with the experiences of bisexual men.

Well, that's total nonsense from my POV and experience. I get very turned on by men and women.

This research is crap... I'll leave it at that for now.
