XOVER, there is a thirty-page thread in GRD where we repeatedly ask JesusFollower the same questions, to which his reply is nearly always, "But god is revealed in the things he made! The evidence is all around you! <insert smiley of choice>"

JesusFollower failed to defend or even flesh out his argument in that thread, so I think it's unlikely he'll do so in this one.

Ahhh, I missed that thread QoS.

Perhaps JesusFollower will continue to remain coy, and, since you have better familiarity with him, he will likely refuse to engage.

Pity, really. I would so like to exercise my mind this weekend.

If the bible says that God is revealed in what he made then let’s look at what the bible says he made.

1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
We have a firmament, which does not exist.
We have an ocean in the sky, which does not exist.
We have a heaven in the sky, which does not exist.

What is revealed in real life about the constructions of god is that they do not exist.
What is revealed about god is that he is a creator who hasn’t got a clue about what creation is. God is revealed as nothing but a bullshit story.

But maybe Genesis 1 is metaphor. In that case Acts is bullshit

If Gen 1 is metaphor then all the accounts of the ascension in the NT are bullshite as well as the story of the rapture, because the Jesus character lives in the bizarre snow globe of a world established in Genesis 1.
In real life Jesus was headed for the vacuum of space not the firmament of heaven. Outer space would make the crucifixion seem like a picnic.

So the invisible attribute (literally) of God that is revealed by what he made is that god is a fictional character in a rather poorly written book. His attributes are invisible for the same reason every other fictional characters attributes are invisible…they are imaginary.

Jesus, The Only Way? - I absolutely think so. Jesus has provided the route. This is not to say that only 'christians' as we commonly term them will enter God's Kingdom, but any that do enter, will do so through Jesus' facilitation, not through their own merits.

You know, I used to think the exact same thing, back when I was a follower of Emmanuel Christ.

I have to agree. Although I really don't like to treat threads like ping pong balls, this one deserves a home down below.

On what basis will JesusGod evaluate someone to determine whether they can enter or not?

It was intentional.

He has fullfilled the Old Testament prophesies concerning the coming Messiah. He has changed My life completely as I have posted earlier.
He has hundreds of followers who have had the option to denounce Him at the point of death yet choose not to deny Him.
He shows me love and acceptace and has paid the ultimate sacrific like no other
so-called diety has.

To Me. Jesus is King!:notworthy: And worthy of all adoration...:notworthy:
