Looks to me like a tacit admission of losing interest/motivation to preserve the site but not to the point of consciously letting it lapse.

Background knowledge of Peter's long-standing and ongoing struggle with mental health issues provides helpful context, I think.

I didn't "give it up" for a reason. I didn't hand the keys to anyone, I left them in the ignition. You understand?

I have found that there are procedures for disputing a registration if you can claim a trademark on the name, and that within a certain window a registrar can return the domain name without a fight. I will be pursuing both options.

Peter Kirby

When can we expect its owner to be back to his old self?

I have changed. Sorry. I'm no longer the plucky little christology student who could.

Change is as good as a holiday! But...

Which bit has (bits have) changed? Are you no longer plucky, little, a christology student, a student, or a combination of these? Are you now a timid, fat, ex-christology ex-student?

The only thing I guess that matters is that you look to the future with healthy skepticism. There are no sacred cows and TANSTAAFL. Warm arms and a there-there-there is not nirvana.

I'm a little more well-rounded, physically and intellectually.

Bigger plates of pasta tend to have that effect. I'm more than a little more well-rounded.
