So, without praying you are incredibly weak, lack patience, have no confidence, need reassurance before you can make any decisions, don't have happiness, are uncomfortable, cannot understand anything among other things. Perhaps it is out of your range of experience, but I have no need for a god to provide me with those things. Witnessing the many Christians around me I'd say that even with their god they don't really have any of those things, either. Old Ygg |

Oh, wait, does this mean that everyone we can't find a body for in the 1st century is a half-human half-god? Holy crap! Old Ygg |

Biblical proof? Yes, but it is all circular and also refutable. |

You have just described that which is gained from maturity, not that which is gained from prayer. |

"The Disciples would not have preached Christianity after Jesus' death, if they did not whole heartedly believe that he appeared before them." "And, FYI, the Muslims who die for whatever reason, don't think it is a lie." There is no difference between the Muslims that you think believe in a lie and the disciples who preach Christianity that is probably untrue either. People that do things based on belief can do anything, any atrocity, as long as they believe what they are doing is right. Just look at Cho Sueng-Hui equating himself with Jesus and believing he was some kind of Holy Warrior going out to kill those students at Virginia Tech. Do you think he believed in Jesus? Do you think he felt what he was doing was to be Jesus-like (or whatever idea of Jesus he had in his mind, anyway)? A person performing actions based on belief is in no way motivation for people who do not initially believe to perform similar action or for them to be given motive to believe. Do you think the moslems truly believed when they flew aircraft in to the twin towers? The towers were only 15 miles away from my house. I know I think the had a whole lot of belief in something before destroying thousands of people. Old Ygg |
