Hey Kimber! How's it going?

Thing 1's bday is a week from today. He's driving us nuts with his lack of a wish list.

* will have to get creative.

Thing 1 has also volunteered to escort his doddering old mom to the nanowrimo TGIO party in SF on Friday. I hope he enjoys it, cuz I'm probably going to stay til the bitter end.

They opened a Mac store recently in the mall on my side of town. If all else fails, I'll take it there. *grins hopefully*

Thanks for the suggestion!!
I'm not completely computer-retarded haha. If you decide to take your computer in, remember to go online and find the mac store and make an appointment... Yes, they are appointment based in the store.

Venting alert:

Too many bad things in my life are coming to a head right now.

My dumbass sister is not, as it turns out, only homeless in my city, but is also five months pregnant. And her two kids are going to be taken by social services next week if my mom or I don't take them. My mom's health won't allow her to take a baby and a two-year-old; I'm a full-time volunteer. I can't pay for daycare and they're not old enough to come to work with me. I don't know what to do.

I find out on Monday whether I have cancer. Probably not, but still, dammit. I hate waiting.

I lose my driver's licence on Tuesday if I haven't turned in a notarized statement to the DMV outlining my payment plan to the insurance agency of the other people involved in that car accident. The insurance company hasn't finished processing the claim yet, and the claims processor's supervisor hasn't returned my phone call. I don't know what to do. I don't know how I'll get to work if I can't drive. My friends all work; it's not like I have someone who can drive me. My house is not on the bus line.

My unnerving housemate has been moved out of the house by my landlord, but he hasn't actually left yet and shows no signs of going away. I am presently sleeping with a chair propped under my doorknob.

I want a drink so fucking bad right now.

Yes, I know going on an alcoholic bender would only make it worse. But seriously...gahh. Fuck.

What do you need to do the notarized plan? That is sucha joke having things notarized, pfft as if it really means anything.

No. My mother, my stepfather and I are really the only functioning adults in my family. Everyone else is either fucked-up or mentally ill. Or both.

Thank you

It's not the notarizing that's the problem, it's the getting the insurance company to sign on to a plan that's the problem. You'd think they'd be overjoyed to get money out of me, but they won't process the damn claim so they can work out a payment arrangement. They haven't sent the claim to the collections department yet. It's still - TWO MONTHS LATER - in the claims department. Bastards.

Go back and read the second definition - it SAYS separated in it.
