Note here that Jesus never was addressed as Christ in the Gospels to show that he was not Christ, where even his disciples who 'did all of those things that we do not' did not know that Jesus would be the Christ, if and only if the Romans would crucify him as 'he sought' and could finally say "it is finished" when all was said and done.
