Biblical Archaeology Review
I just subscribed to BAR. From what I've seen they are non-theological and publish articles from a variety of different authors with a variety of different viewpoints, from Finkelstein to Mazar. However, I've been hearing about them continuing to publish articles in support of the authenticity of the officially discredited James Ossuary, and Editor-in-chief Hershel Shanks has declared that he does not accept the IAA's conclusion that the ossuary is a forgery. With this in mind, does this diminish the credibility of the magazine as a whole?

Ugh, it's starting to look to me like I shouldn't have subscribed. I would rather have subscribed to an academic journal anyway, but they're very expensive (ASOR's Near Eastern Archaeology is $45 a year).
