when Jeremiah sends for jehu to be annointed,the lord is happy with him.He kills all those who worshipped Baal in an orgy of violence...the lord is still happy with him and promises four generations of his house shall rule.Years later hosea names one of his sons Jezreel meaning 'The lord shall not forgive the house of Jehu for the massacre at Jezreel'!!!this LORD is the same LORD really?

As I recall, the Baal worshippers were icing on the cake. The main targets God gave Jehu was the house of Ahab.

The easy explanation for the discrepancy is that the different accounts were written by people with different opinions on the event. I'm sure inerrantists have an explanation that somehow resolves the contradiction.
