Yes, that was established at the end of season 1.

I actually liked last night's episode only because I really like Hurley, and I thought that bringing the story back to the social dynamic on the beach was a good thing.

I'm profoundly and deeply sick of Locke and just which he'd get severely beaten or something.

Speaking of which, I liked the slap on Charlie.

PS - You actually *watch* the show!?!? From your comments you always sound like you hate it, so why watch? Makes me wonder if you go to the dentist every week and then whine like a little bitch about it even though no one forces you to go.
he loves it really. It's just fun to come on forums and moan about things.

Yeah, they have the whole Scooby gang setup primed and ready now.

I just hope IGN tack on another 10 loose ends to their list for every new episode.

I quite enjoyed that episode. Lots of terrific humour from Sawyer, and the end was actually pretty uplifting. Plus - this feels like a first - the castaways were finally sharing information with each other! Zounds.

Aint that the truth, and MadPhatCat's fanboy tantrums are just the icing on the cake! :devil1:

I still watch the show but am getting kind of bored. I'm not sure why, I guess because there really isn't some really compelling plot keeping it together for me. I don't care about rescuing Jack, I've wanted him to die since the first season. The whiny, persecuted god complex doesn't do it for me. I liked it more when the plot was more about the Island and discovering what was going on there. It looks like next week they'll at least address something that may be more on track with that again though.

I also like Hurley slapping Charlie and his moment at Libby's grave but everything else either centered on his childhood ... flashbacks after winning the money or his current role on the island I hated ... sorry :frown:

And as far as sharing information ... Kate goes into the jungle alone and only afterwards is there any contact with Sayid / Locke

And the beach scenes poor lonely Sawyer ... yeah right ... a little too forced IMO

I must say also missed a connection

Well yeah actually (even though you are too lazy to cite a source). I can't keep comparing you to Nelson from the Simpsons if you don't get in your spiteful *ha ha* moments.

Note how I haven't blasted anyone else for merely disliking/hating this episode. <edited> You seem to take joy in the show's misfortune and then try to rub it in to anyone who is remotely enjoying the show. Quite sad really.
