Your simplistic view of MLK...
Excuse me but, YOUR views are "simplistic". You seem to think Blacks were "free" to beg their ex-slavemaster's children, to treat them "equal" ,instead of "going for self"!

The Web page that you referred us to suggests that both Buddha and Krishna were Africans.

Please, point this out.

Buddha was Black, that's why his woolly hair is always shown in small tight
curls, pepper corn style or corn rows. Early sculptures of him clearly reveal
his Aficoid features ...wide nose and full lips. So was Zaha of Japan,
Fu-Hsi of China, Tyr of Scandinavia, Quetzalcoatl of Mexico, Sommonacom of Siam
and Isis of Egypt and Rome. Krishna of India was "blue-black," in fact his

means black, or the Black One! (see dictionary). He is always portrayed with
blue or blue-black skin.

OK Beanie it doesn't say African. I t says that Buddha had "Aficoid features " and that Krishna of India was "blue-black,"

What is the point? Do you think that all blackness is a virtue in and of itself? Some Inuit people also have black skin, what does that mean? Do you think that all dark skinned people are unified by virtue of their blackness.
Why do Tutsi's and the Hutoos kill each other?
Why do white Irish protestants hate white Irish Catholics?
Why did white Romans enslave white Greeks and white Germans?
Why did Black Moors conquer White Spaniards? Were the Moors evil Black oppressors?
The world is complex. Your attempt to define things literally in Black and White is simplistic.

Dear Mr. Beanpie

I am not an expert on this racial identity business please inform us. What percentage of African heritage makes one Black?
Is Tiger Woods Black man? He doesn't think so.
Was Charlie Mingus a Black Man? He didn't think so.
Was Elijah Mohammed a Black Man? I don't think so.
Tiger Woods says that to classify him as Black is to disrespect his Mother and the heritage he received from her family.

Was Elijah Mohammed a Black Man? I don't think so. HE WOULD SAY "EMPHATICALLY YES"! But, I guess only Mr. Woods' opinion matters, concerning self.

Baidarka - What the Hell does that mean?
50% White + 50% Black =?
75% White + 25% Black = ?

93.75% White + 6.25% Black = ?
96.875% White + 3.125% Black = ?
Please fill out the above so I can figure out what "BLACK IS MOST DOMINANT SO..." means.

Baidarka - Is Tiger Woods Black man? He doesn't think so.

Baidarka - Why do you call this White child molester Black?
Baidarka - Tiger Woods says that to classify him as Black is to disrespect his Mother and the heritage he received from her family.
Beanie - THAT IS CERTAINLY HIS CHOICE!

Baidarka - When you say Black is dominant are you speaking genetically? Culturally? Morally? Mathematically?

Mr. Beanpie

Since you are an expert on these matters please help me figure out the answer to the following. Greenland's current Kayaking champ is 1/2 Inuit and 1/2 Puerto Rican. He also one of the few Greenlanders who really hates the cold. Is he Puerto Rican or is he Inuit?

You must be too young to remember segregated water fountains, lynchings, Jim Crow.
MLK didn't beg for anything he very effectively worked to change the law of the land. He was a strong brave man and he stood up to for his people and unlike Elijah Mohammed he was really a Black Man.
