Default 9/11 and emopants, possible correlation?

Do you think 9/11 helped produce the requisite zeitgeist for emopants to emerge?

Discuss.

Please be considerate to the senior citizens on this board.

Did 9/11 cause guys to wear girl pants? Personally I notice that the current generation started to adopt this absurd notion sometime after 9/11. Perhaps its a way of making the internal pain physical.

It was a serious question. I think it should be moved back to PD. I am confident that emo culture is a product of 9/11.

Emo Pants? That's what they call the Japanese school uniform pants all those angsty teenage mecha pilots wear, right?
