I was reflecting upon theistic history and all the divisions, wars, torture and insanity the religious elite wreaked upon one another. I was thinking how sad and depressing this utter insanity was. Then I realized something that made me happy. When thinking about holy wars it only takes one word to really cheer me up:

Yeah, but the casualties are few among the true believers; they're mostly just the poor schmucks on the ground caught between the warring jihadists and crusaders.

I think thats true some of the time but I would think a lot of those soldiers believed in what they were doing. Many of course just used by the elite who could read and write and corce unlike them. Fuck them for being so gullible though.
