Seeing how the bible defines 'soon' and 'this generation' in terms of two thousand years (and still counting) I wouldn't hold my breath.

Time is short and the world as we know it is soon to pass. Those who can hear the LORD have heard from Him and judgment will be complete on the earth within seven years.
