Does it matter?

Is the yellow brick road the only way to Oz?

What is the way to Dao?

Nirvana?

And so on.

What is God? Define it for me please. Can you do that without using bible verses? I don't consider your bible as an accurate representation of reality. How can you expect me to answer if Jesus is the only way to god without at least an adequate definition of god?

It's rather debatable whether or not Jesus even existed. If he's the only way to god and he didn't exist, that's a pretty darn bad situation. And if he did exist, how do you know that anything you believe about him is in any way accurate?

Following Jesus is just one of a number of ways to self-delusion and ignorance.

Are you deluded and ignorant?

Are you one of them who can not say something unless it is accompanied by a passage from your story book?

I personally find Shakespeare a lot more interesting.

Edit: Why haven't you lived up to your nick and followed jesus to the cross?

In the Bible, something else is suggested: But the first thing to do is to give away one's property. Few Christians, least of all the Calvinists, were very serious about that.

JF, I'm new here too, but I get the feeling that you're coming in with a combative attitude. Your "my way or the highway" approach is bound to irritate some people pretty deeply. Hell, I'm a professing Xn, and it irritates ME. Maybe you should back off, come back in, listen awhile, and hear what others have to say. How can it hurt?

JesusFollower, may I just ask you this: If Jesus is really the only way to God, why did it take so long for Him to come to Earth and save everyone? If He had to do this because of the sin of Adam and Eve, why didn't He immediately come to Earth right after Adam and Eve had been expelled from the Garden, and save them before they had a chance to reproduce and populate the Earth with sinners?
