Tell me about this accepting Christ thing. Was it dramatic? Did you close your eyes and imagine Jesus was real and ask him to come into your heart? Did you like the feelings that imagining Christ was real gave you? Do you still like them? Does this sort of positive reward for imagining things sound vaguely masturbatory to you?

I absolutely do. The Holy Spirit's conviction provides and confirms the beliefs held within the Book.
It does? How? For all either of us knows, this HS is completely imaginary.

Do you always find it productive to make assumptions on subjects of which you're woefully ignorant, and about the hearts of others?

I know your post was all about shock value. It's clearly masturbatory for you to imagine me fanning myself and murmuring "why I do declay-uh!!" while secretly questioning my Faith, thanks to "steamer" of IIDB.org. I'm not, though.

You, my friend, are wrong.

And furthermore I'll ask you not to speak for me and what I "know."

Really? Prove me wrong. Otherwise we'll have to call it a draw.

I do not accept that feelings/convictions gained from the imagination qualify as knowledge so I haven't accused you of having any.

What kind of proof do you require? Proof from the "infallible" scientific community? Or perhaps from the humanistic philosophy your sect (yes, despite what many of you cling to, you are a religious sect) touts?

Or are you willing to humble yourself to the fact that humans simply cannot explain existence in any humanistic capacity?

Rather, you did make an assumption as to what you claimed I knew. I corrected that.

And your use of the term "imagination" is wrong.

Ironic how pissy you get in the previous post about speaking for you about what you know. Still, you did not answer my question. Do you have the courage to be honest with me or are you just wsting my time?

Sorry bud, you're not that important or interesting for me to fantasize about. Why don't you just keep not answering my questions though? When you were a non-believer, you only imagined god, now that you've imagined god enough, you've convinced yourself that some external force has convinced you of the thing you started out only imagining. Is it true or not? Can you muster the courtage to give me an honest answer?

No. It's not. You're placing God in the imagination, and He's not imagined.

Give me the proof you use to convince yourself that what you imagine is something more than a thing imagined.

If even atheists are religious then being religious has no meaning at all. I'm happy to agree though that the primary difference between our two "religions" is that only one of us believes in invisible magical beings.

Once upon a time many humans believed that disease was caused by "evil spirits". Making up an imaginary solution to the problem served as an "explanation", but it was just something people imagined. What would you say was wrong with the "explanation" that an imagined force was responsible for disease?

Show me that god is something more than a thing imagined.
