I think there is a GRAVE error. It MAY ACTUALLY be the REVERSE.

I think that is how we GOT the NT CANON.

It has ALREADY been deduced by Scholars that the authors of the Canonised Gospels are ALL FAKE and did NOT write anything BEFORE the Fall of the Temple.

It has ALREADY been deduced that many CANONISED PAULINE writings have FAKE "Pauline authors" and there cannot be found any CREDIBLE corroborative source for a single PAULINE VERSE.

The CANONISED authors called Peter, James, Jude and John are ALL FAKE RELATIVES and DISCIPLES of JESUS.

IT IS THE NT CANON that is KNOWN or deduced by Scholars to be the PRODUCT of FAKE AUTHORSHIP.

Fake only to a historicist but not to reality which has no origin in history. Peter is the Rock of faith who lives on forever, Paul is the temple, James is alive and well in protestant circles, Jude returned to Israel and John is the water that became the solid ground for Catholics walk on.

The full story is on Salon.com. The "fake" quote is a combination of a real quote from Martin Luther King and a comment by someone else, which were inadvertently combined by Penn Jillette, who has apologized profusely for his negligence.
