Albright and Glueck were representative of the early 20th century school when preachers masquerading as archaeologists went out with a bible in one hand and a shovel in the other and pronounced every rock they found to be one that "Moses" had pissed on. Read "The Bible Unearthed." All of this nonsense has been overturned by modern archaeology. |
