Now, now, Johnny no need to be narky. Yes I find my interest ocassionally being being diverted by other things. Yet I think of the abuse a theist gets if they decide to leave a thread esp. if they started it. Accusation of cowardice, dodging the issue etc:
You want me to reply to threads yet you think you don't need to justify the reasons to me and say "none of your business".
Hardly conductive to me wanting to join the aforementioned threads.

But I did justify my reasons. I told you "I do not wish to participate in this thread anymore because after I started it I became more interested in other issues." I did not say that it was none of your business. I said that I probably should have said none of your business. You are not kidding anyone. You are being evasive because you do not want to embarrass yourself by replying to my arguments. I have had fundies do that to me before. When they get into trouble, they sometimes look for any excuse that they can use to withdraw from the thread, including pretending that their feelings were hurt because I was rude, when in fact no fundamentalist Christian at the IIDB would ever pass up an opportunity to embarrass me if they thought that they could, and that most certainly includes you. Ksen recently withdrew from a thread where he and I were debating because I told him that I did not believe what he said. He said that I called him a liar, and said that he was going to withdraw from the thread because I called him a liar. There is no doubt that he would not have withdrawn from the thread if he believed that he could embarrass me. A fundie named achristianbeliever once called me a liar, which is much worse than what I said to you. I did not pay any attention to that, and I did not complain about it. Even if I had been insulted, I would not have withdrawn from the thread because I wanted to embarrass achristianbeliever, which I did, and he eventually withdrew from the thread. If you do not wish to make posts in those threads, that is fine with me. I do not mind winning by default. You have embarrassed yourself and you do not want to admit it.
