Passages I have problems with -

Thompson concerning the Albright School's comparative analysis (interestingly these scholars do not have strong training in the comparative fields (archaeology, Assyriology, Egyptology, and comparative Semitics) and so their criticisms lack significant interaction with the primary data), arguing instead for a less historical understanding of these narratives and in many cases extreme views that the Old Testament was composed during the exile and later."

I'm no expert on the bible by any means, or it's historocity, but statements such as the above bolded seem like they came from apologists for the maximalist view, and are not based on actual observations in specific fields, but rather credentials. It's important to distinguish whether they are arguing with the research of these scholars or whether they are blanketing all of their research as inaccurate due to their degrees and 'lack of interaction with primary data.' Whose data? Which data? Just one layman's opinion.

The first excerpt is clearly based on conjecture, unless they link with a poll of these scholars at American universities. So get rid of that little (basically useless) tidbit.

I'd be glad if someone educates me on what was seen wrong with this wiki article, exactly.
