Default More Crap from Texas

Petition to put ID in schools.

Quote:
It's a controversial move that some say could open the doors to teaching creationism in public schools. A local group is gathering signatures that would require science teachers in Montgomery County to teach a concept called 'Intelligent Design'.

from the news article

"The overwhelming evidence in many areas of science are pointing to a designer over something happening by chance," said Jenkins.
He doesn't know the first thing about evolution... that's exactly the strawman of evolution I was presented when I subsequently became a YEC.

Intelligent Design is a concept that suggests all of us and everything we know in this world were created intentionally by one single being.
One single being? Why not 22 beings? How about 347 beings? 22,345,847 beings?

Heck, with the state of affairs throughout human and other natural histories, I should think ID has 'committee' written all over it.
