So since no naturalistic explanation can explain away the resurrection data, this proves Jesus is God and that you are going to Hell according to the Bible.

Famita was proven false because it violates Scripture since Mary is asleep. It can be explained by seeing something in the clouds for 10 minutes like when you go on a drive and try to find objects in the clouds. Big deal. Roman Catholics are so hard up to exalt Mary its embarrassing. Yet the Bible says all that is born into the flesh is flesh: we are all sinners even Mary.

I am comforted in knowing I am going to be in the New City for eternity and that you are going to Hell. It comforts me because I feel safe knowing a rapist is in jail for life like you will be in Hell for eternity. But I would go to Hell for you if it would save you. I would. Because there is nothing worse than Hell and I would not wish this upon my worse enemy not even you. As Jesus died for me I would die for you to save you from your self. If I had to go to Hell, I would still be ok because I am in Christ.

No, Fatima was not proven false by violating your interpretation of scripture. It did no such thing. It was proven false by the fact that camera's recorded nothing that the people said they saw - which is the exact same thing that these people (if we take them at face value and not later tales told to the writers of the gospels) might have undergone. There are quite a few plausible hypothesis for the hallucination of the cult-like "true believers" - you might even find some of that discussion here. But I do have to say thanks for at least answering the easy bits. Now, how about the first-century contemporary writers (other than the ones in the bible, that is)? I do have to go to a graduation ceremony, so I'll try to pick this up later tonight sometime.

Fatima is proven false for Mary is asleep. You don't see visions of dead people. Plus it was off in the far distance whereas Jesus is up close and personal. It can be explained by visions in the cloud. Nothing supernatural.
But there is no way to explain away Jesus alive from the dead other than He is God because the disciples said they touched Him, talked with Him, ate with Him, and walked with Him. People don't die for something they know is a lie so they really believed it. Give your life to Christ or you are going to Hell. It is really that simple. |

Biblo, do you believe the stories told by St Augustine (and other saints) of Christians being raised from the dead long after the Apostolic age? Or only the resurrections mentioned in the Bible?

The reason you don't want to give it up for Christ because you have to place trust in your Creator instead of clinging to the self life you have been under for so long. It can be very scary.

I believe in multiple attestation in various group settings and modern psychology which says there are no such things as group hallucinations.

Many people actually find it scary to give up on the pseudo certainties of supernatural belief. Adopting a belief system under which, by adopting it, you gain everlasting bliss, and at the same time avoid eternal suffering just ain't scary. 'Seductive' might be a better term. Are you, as a matter of fact, posting here for course credits? David B |

The only resurrections in the Bible are those done by God Himself. No man made ones.
