				 | Are there any examples of a scenario like Jesus' crucifixion?

Do we have any knowledge of any Jews who were ever convicted by the Jewish courts and then handed over to the Romans for execution? And, if so, do we have such examples where the charges were similar to those supposedly brought against Jesus? I have found this info, but I can't find the source: http://www.bycommonconsent.com/2006/...ror-at-easter/ Quote:

I've obviously finding most of these in Mishnah Sanhedrin 4-6, but I'm having trouble finding the one that prohibits a trial on the eve of a feast. Can you help me out? Never mind--found it. Was 4.1.8. |
