Lets assume here, that the God of the Christians exists.

Now, we all know about how Satan was cast into hell or something when he made a mess of things on Earth. My simple question is: how can Satan manipulate us from his prison? Does he possess powers that circumvent the powers of God? It doesn't make sense...
To those that can believe this is all true, it doesn't need to make sense. You just need faith.
Anyone honestly seeking the truth behind these matters of good vs evil and the influence of the devil will find the answer to not be all that important.

The ecclesiastic theoreticians of witchcraft etc. even said that devils don't have semen of their own. They take it as succubi from human males and then pass it on as incubi to witches.

I am surprised it took this long for someone to post something along these lines

Welcome aboard.

I agree about faith.

If someone rests their belief entirely upon faith, there isn't much point in arguing over that belief.

This also helps to explain occasional virgin births.

Er... in the interest of accuracy, the Hebrew word used for "back" in this verse is "achor", and while I'm not sure what that means, if God had shown his butt then they would have used the Hebrew word for butt, which is of course, "tuchis". So maybe God was just flexing his lats for Moses.

Good point. I'm certainly willing to admit my God could very well be alegory. I do think 'Satan' is a personification of evil and temptation and not an actual being. Manufacturing a Satan lets people off the hook in my mind, of admitting the fault, the sin, lies with themselves. "It's not me! Satan made me do it!"

God could just be something I manufacture as a framework from which to view the world and not an actual being somewhere. But it works for me so I'll continue in it.

Satan is doing well, in a Palm Springs, CA retirement community. He has a small cottage shop where he makes and sells hand crafted tridents to tourists. His guilty pleasures include hoof and horn manicures.
