You can't.
Anyone can do 1.

a) Pick scripture
b) Claim interpretation
Which is precisely what I expect: some convoluted, nonsensical "interpretation" of someting that has nothing to do with a "commission" to "defend" gawd. In other words, SOP for fundies<edit>.

I'll take that as a "no, I don't wish to give up on my claims that I know the Bible better than most Believers. what I see as a bargaining chip. I will continue in these claims despite, yet again, whiffing horribly on a principle tenet of Christianity." I bet you wish you had thought of this dodge last week.

Exactly what I expected--total bullshit that has nothing to do with a "commission" to "defend gawd."

Fail.

Next!

Haaaaaaaard talk from the Self-Proclaimed First Stop For All Of Your Biblical Needs who made a dare, but refused to stake his homemade Biblical Championship Belt on it.

It's hard to misinterpret "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in [or into] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."

Since you are clearly a superior babble scholar, please point out to the dull-witted like me where, precisely, in that passage is a "commission" to "defend gawd."

Making disciples is not "defending" gawd. :banghead:

You are so desperate to defend your indefensible assertions that you will resort to damn near anything.

Wrong. Plainly, simply, completely wrong. There is no force outside of your imagination. There is no guarantee outside of your delusions. There is no need to take you seriously.

STC you are quite simply deluded. You have no arguments for your position other than your personal commune with the Holy Spirit (auditory delusions) and in light of any other line of reasoning you maintain a

I for one find it sad that there are people in this world so blindly devoted to a delusion for which they are completely unable to explain outside of "I hear voices"

Tell me something, STC, what else does gawd "commission" you to do besides "defend" him (which seems to mostly consist of posting meaningless ramblings on internet discussion boards)?

Do you feed the hungry?

Clothe the poor?

Minister to the sick, orphans, and widows?

Or is this "commission" strictly lip service and "witnessing"?

STC

Do you have the abilities described in Mark 16:17-18?

And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.

I am asking you. I know precisely what the babble says. I want to know if your "commission" includes any of the things I asked about.
