				 | Paul (or Peter)'s Disease

I'm not sure which Prophet, but it was either Paul or Peter who had a disease. Anyways, anyone wonder what the disease was, or who had it?

I believe it was Paul who said he had some kind of "affliction" that he had prayed to God to remove but God saw fit not to. This is the one that many people - though I don't know the reasoning for it - have assumed to be homosexuality.

Homosexuality was posited, as was epilepsy (seeing any gods lately?). But neither Peter nor Paul were "prophets" but "apostles".

2 Cor 12:7-10 - Paul refers to his "thorn in the flesh", which some modern translations render as "a handicap" or "a painful physical ailment".
