Yes, because all those little fresh water fishies would have gone belly up right away. And all the birds and insects, reptiles, localized species specific parasites......holy crap one of the veins in my head is about to explode from the insanity.

I would also note that I did a handy mathematical proof that 2 elephants would have taken up .4% of the volume of the ark themselves if you account for food and lock them in crates no bigger than their own cubic dimensions.

And this is with a 50% reduction in food and water intake. Most mammals can't even surivive on a 60% water reduction.

2 friggin elephants.... .4% volume....come on...that's huge...

He's right. Why, right here you can see one of the Ammonites that was slain by King Saul himself.

Yes . . . but you forgot that they collected baby versions of all the animals, plants, and Ebola zaire.

So it is possible. I believe it. As we all know . . . belief is the same as evidence.

Seed descretely removes the bottle of Belmenach from his reach. . . .

Yes...i'm sure noah managed to breed and tiem the estrus and life cycle of every friggin animal on the planet so they all gave birth at once in a massive orgy of spawning and amniotic fluid. maybe that's where the flood really came from.

*grumble*

Baby mammals often require their mother's milk to survive for a good amount of time.....unless noah's wife was going to let every animal suckle from her teats for sustenance.

What deluded self righteous idiot could possibly suspend logic and common sense enough to still believe this crap?!?!?!

*stopping self before blood pressure spikes too high*

I imagine there was quite a bit of debris floating around for insects to survive on.

Let me guess, you did the calculations using a full size adult Elephant? You are also aware how absolutely enormous the ark was right?

Won't somebody please think of the freshwater fish?!?

You could say that "maybe it rained freshwater", but then there's saltwater fish and animals.

And remember the amount of rain coming down (enough energy released to boil the oceans, ect).

Magus55: "Let me guess, you did the calculations using a full size adult Elephant? You are also aware how absolutely enormous the ark was right?"

Ok then Magus. So how'd they aquire and store all that elephant milk? Back prior to pasturization and refrigeration (especially with all that energy being released), and in such unavoidably unsanitary conditions. And having to transport elephant parasites.

And how much do you think a baby growing elephant eats in a day (assuming that it isn't sick {shitty conditions, parasite transportation, ect})?
