Bede writes in his article on JP (No Link) Holding's site.
'They claim to make reference to Wilson because his books are widely available but far superior scholarship is to be found in any library. ' Of course, this does not stop Turkel's authors, and even Turkel himself, citing Ian Wilson favourably whenever they want support...... Why does Turkel use the very same scholar Bede dimisses, when 'far superior scholarship is to be found'? Perhaps Bede should not stuff his reviews full of ad hominems if he wants them to be taken seriously. Ad hominems have a way of biting back. |
