IMO Yes. Though many tales were added over time, there was a single great preacher/teacher who was the source of many of the stories about Jesus. 105 31.25%

Well, we just don't know. My personal feeling is that it is possibly Ben Stada who was the basis for the 'character', Jesus Christ. The fact that he is not mentioned before circa 70 AD leads me to feel this way. Simply because I feel a follower would have mentioned him. Although that is a feeling, I know it cannot be a certainty.

I would like to add that I find it amusing to the point of amazement, that so many Christians mention Josephus. I bet they haven't even read Josephus. Pity, because he is a good read.
