I think I'm more forthright in some ways in person. I can depend on my body language to convey the intent behind my words.

If I say to you in person "oh bullshit", you know I don't have ill intent, here it would be taken differently.

And in debate, here, sometimes I stumble and can't seem to get my intention across, the right words won't come, and I can dig myself a deep ole hole to fall into.

Boy, do I know about being Southern and more gentle in person. I'd like to think I have gotten over alot of it. I want to be the 'charater', the crazy Aunt who says what she wants. You know the one. The one who every one is both shocked by and adored.
